The Isolated Seat Tube Design
Only Genie bicycles are built with Isolated Seat Tube technology. My frames incorporate a urethane dampener that is housed in the oversized tubing that reduces the amount of road buzz that reaches the cyclist. The frames ride silkly smooth but retain the responsiveness and quality ride that steel is known for. Road buzz is fatiguing and takes away from the enjoyment of the ride and the performance of a cyclist. Road feel is delivered in spades – without the jarring from imperfect road surfaces we all encounter. Here’s a close up for you!
Steel is Sublime
When it comes to choosing a frame material – I choose steel. Steel speaks to all of the things that make a bike great – simply the best ride quality and classy, timeless looks. Steel comes in many diameters, wall thicknesses, butt lengths and profiles making it a beautiful material to design and fabricate a frame with.
A Dialed Ride.
Not only are the bikes smooth but they had to feel dialed when riding. For my geometry I called up a pro and had our signature geometry custom designed for us by the renowned designer Kirk Pacenti. So now not only did I have a unique vibration smoothing frame – but I made sure it was built with the best road geometry out there.
